Bu durum Of Bo\u011faz\u0131 k\u00f6ylerinin t\u00fcm\u00fc i\u00e7in ge\u00e7erli olan bir vak\u0131ad\u0131r. Ancak \u015fekil ve \u015femailinin, m\u00fcfredat\u0131n\u0131n, s\u0131n\u0131flamalar ve kademelendirilmelerinin, \u00f6\u011fretilen ders ve konular\u0131n\u0131n giderek unutulmas\u0131; g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 zora sokmakta ve ula\u015f\u0131lan bir tak\u0131m Tarihi Vesikan\u0131n yorumlanmas\u0131nda zorlanmalara ve bazen de ciddi \u015f\u00fcphe ve yanl\u0131\u015flara sebep olmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Osmanl\u0131\u2019da Tanzimatla ba\u015flat\u0131lan yeniliklerden biri de, her vilayetin y\u0131l sonu itibari ile bir nevi y\u0131ll\u0131k diyebilece\u011fimiz \u201cSalname\u201d yay\u0131nlamaya ba\u015flamas\u0131 olmu\u015ftur. 1864 y\u0131l\u0131ndan itibaren ba\u015flat\u0131l\u0131p 1904 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar devam eden bu uygulama, Trabzon Vilayeti\u2019nde ilk defa 1869 y\u0131l\u0131nda hayata ge\u00e7irilir. Salname, \u201cGenel olarak ge\u00e7mi\u015f y\u0131llar\u0131n veya bir y\u0131l\u0131n b\u00fct\u00fcn olaylar\u0131n\u0131, her t\u00fcrl\u00fc icraat\u0131n\u0131, istatistik, ticaret, sanayi, iktisat, tarih, fen ve biyografi bilgilerini \u00f6zet halinde ihtiva etmek \u00fczere her sene haz\u0131rlanarak yay\u0131mlanan eserler\u201d hakk\u0131nda kullan\u0131lan bir tabirdir. (1)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u0130\u015fte bu salnamelerden 1869 y\u0131l\u0131nda yay\u0131nlanan ilkinde, Trabzon Vilayeti\u2019nin e\u011fitim durumu \u00f6zetlenirken, Of Kazas\u0131\u2019nda 350 medresede 2364 \u00f6\u011frencinin \u00f6\u011frenim g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn kaydedilmesi g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131 ve yazarlar\u0131n\u0131 hayretlere d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr\u00fcp \u015fa\u015f\u0131rtmakta ve hatta \u015f\u00fcphelenmelerine, daha da ileri, giderek kendilerince d\u00fczeltici yorumlar\u0131na sebebiyet vermektedir. Zira ayn\u0131 kaynakta, ayn\u0131 d\u00f6nemde il merkezi de d\u00e2hil, di\u011fer b\u00fct\u00fcn il\u00e7elerdeki medrese toplam\u0131 bundan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fckt\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf &#8211; \u00c7aykara \u2013 Dernekpazar\u0131 ve Hayrat&#8217;\u0131n ilim seviyesi, o g\u00fcn\u00fcn \u015fartlar\u0131na ve memleketin di\u011fer b\u00f6lgelerine g\u00f6re \u00e7ok y\u00fcksekti. Bu b\u00f6lge, \u00fclke \u00e7ap\u0131nda me\u015fhurdur. Nitekim 1869 tarihli Trabzon Vilayet Salnamesi\u2019ne g\u00f6re, b\u00fct\u00fcn vilayette bulunan 397 medresenin 350&#8217;si yaln\u0131z Of\u2019ta, 11&#8217;i Trabzon merkez il\u00e7ede, 11&#8217;i Vakf\u0131kebir&#8217;de, 1&#8217;i Ak\u00e7aabat&#8217;ta, 8&#8217;i S\u00fcrmene&#8217;de bulunmaktayd\u0131. Geri kalanlar di\u011fer kazalardad\u0131r. Bu medreseler y\u00fcksek tahsil kurumlar\u0131 oldu\u011fundan dolay\u0131 \u00f6\u011frenim i\u00e7in ba\u015fka b\u00f6lgelerden bu kurumlara gelinirdi. Bu say\u0131ma g\u00f6re vilayetteki medreselerin % 90&#8217;\u0131 Of\u2019ta bulunmaktayd\u0131. Ayn\u0131 \u015fekilde 82 m\u00fcderrisle vilayetteki m\u00fcderrislerin % 80&#8217;ine, 2364 \u00f6\u011frenci ile t\u00fcm \u00f6\u011frencilerin % 70&#8217;ine sahipti. \u201d(2)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bizi bu yaz\u0131y\u0131 haz\u0131rlamaya sevk eden sebep ise, \u00f6zellikle son y\u0131llarda baz\u0131 kaynaklar\u0131n, bize g\u00f6re kestirme bir mant\u0131kla, yukar\u0131da bahsi ge\u00e7en say\u0131 ve oranlar\u0131 abart\u0131l\u0131 bulmalar\u0131 ve gerek yaz\u0131l\u0131 ve gerekse s\u00f6zl\u00fc olarak bu yoldaki kanaatlerini kamuoyu ile payla\u015fmalar\u0131 olmu\u015ftur. Bu ba\u011flamda bilginin sehven yanl\u0131\u015f yaz\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131, mant\u0131kl\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclmedi\u011fi v. s. gibi fikirler beyan etmekte ve belirtmektedirler. Ne var ki bu ve benzeri tutum ve beyanlar, tarihi vesikalara kar\u015f\u0131 \u015f\u00fcphelerin olu\u015fmas\u0131na ve tarihi olgulara kar\u015f\u0131 zihinlerin bulanmas\u0131na sebebiyet verebilmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6rne\u011fin, Of N\u00fcfus Defteri (1834) adl\u0131 eserin 8. sayfas\u0131n\u0131n son paragraf\u0131nda, \u015fu ifade mevcuttur: \u201cKazan\u0131n dikkat \u00e7eken bir hususiyeti de, b\u00f6lgedeki e\u011fitim faaliyetleridir. 1869 Trabzon Vilayet Salnamesi, Of Kazas\u0131\u2019nda 350 medresenin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan bahsetmektedir. Daha sonraki salnamelerde bu rakama tesad\u00fcf edilmemesi, bu rakam\u0131n yanl\u0131\u015f olabilece\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcrmektedir. 350 yerine 35 rakam\u0131 akla daha yak\u0131n gelmektedir. Ancak bu rakam bile b\u00f6lgedeki di\u011fer yerle\u015fim birimlerindeki medreselerin toplam\u0131ndan fazlad\u0131r.\u201d (3)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6ncelikle belirtmek gerekir ki, bahis olunan d\u00f6nemde Of Bo\u011faz\u0131\u2019nda ve Trabzon Vilayeti genelinde e\u011fitim; Kuran-\u0131 Kerim\u2019i ezberleme yani haf\u0131zl\u0131k yapma, Arap\u00e7a Dil ve Dil Bilgisi yan\u0131nda Hadis Usul\u00fc, F\u0131k\u0131h Usul\u00fc, Tefsir ve Feraiz gibi \u00f6\u011frencileri imaml\u0131\u011fa haz\u0131rlamaya y\u00f6nelik derslerle y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclmektedir. \u015eekil olarak da, her k\u00f6y\u00fcn camii, m\u00fc\u015ftemilat\u0131 ile birlikte medrese, imam\u0131 da bu medresenin hocas\u0131d\u0131r. Talebe okutur, haf\u0131zl\u0131k ve imaml\u0131k \u015fahadetnamesi (diploma) verme yetkisini haizdir. Bunun yan\u0131nda, her k\u00f6yde liyakati devlet\u00e7e tan\u0131nm\u0131\u015f, \u015fahadetname vermeye yetkili ve Efendi diye an\u0131lan hocaefendiler de, evleri yak\u0131n\u0131nda m\u00fcnasip bir mek\u00e2nda, evlerinin bu ama\u00e7la bina edilmi\u015f m\u00fc\u015ftemilat\u0131nda veya uygun salonlar\u0131nda camideki m\u00fcfredata paralel e\u011fitim icra ederler ve bu e\u011fitim sonunda \u00f6\u011frencilerine \u00e7evredeki hocalardan m\u00fcte\u015fekkil bir komisyonun huzurunda ve halk\u0131n geni\u015f kat\u0131l\u0131m\u0131 ile yap\u0131lan de\u011ferlendirme ve merasimle \u015fahadetname verirlerdi. Dolay\u0131s\u0131 ile bu e\u011fitim mek\u00e2nlar\u0131 da medrese addedilirdi. Bu sistemde hocalar \u00f6\u011frencilerinden, k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckleri e\u011fitmek \u00fczere yard\u0131mc\u0131 \u00f6\u011fretmen olarak da yararlan\u0131r ve onlar\u0131 ayn\u0131 zamanda \u00f6\u011fretmenli\u011fe haz\u0131rlarlard\u0131. Gerek cami imam\u0131, gerekse \u00f6zel medrese hocalar\u0131n\u0131n \u00fccreti k\u00f6y halk\u0131 ve \u00f6\u011frenci velilerince kar\u015f\u0131lan\u0131rd\u0131. \u0130stisna\u00ee bir uygulamayla da, son d\u00f6nemde baz\u0131 hocalar \u201cdersiam\u201d ve \u201cm\u00fcderris\u201d s\u0131fatlar\u0131 ile devlet\u00e7e maa\u015fa ba\u011flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6rne\u011fin, k\u00f6y\u00fcm\u00fcz Zeleka\u2019da, B\u00fcy\u00fck Dedemiz Kutri Mehmet Efendi (1830-1905) taraf\u0131ndan 1880\u2019li y\u0131llarda yapt\u0131r\u0131lan ve halen de hizmet vermekte olan 150 metre kare b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki evimizin g\u00fcney y\u00f6n\u00fcnde bulunan ve evin \u00fc\u00e7te birlik alan\u0131n\u0131 kapsay\u0131p \u201cb\u00fcy\u00fck \u00e7ardak &#8211; b\u00fcy\u00fck hayat\u201d diye an\u0131lan, geni\u015f bir salon ile bu salona a\u00e7\u0131lan bir oda, \u00f6zel olarak bu i\u015fe tahsis edilmi\u015fti. Gerek B\u00fcy\u00fck Dedemiz Mehmet Efendi ve gerekse o\u011flu Dedemiz Ahmet Efendi (1872-1950), b\u00fcy\u00fck salonda talebe okutur, misafir a\u011f\u0131rlar ve bu salona a\u00e7\u0131lan ve halen de misafir odas\u0131 olarak kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z oday\u0131 da, \u015fahsi e\u015fya ve kitaplar\u0131n\u0131 muhafaza ettikleri \u00f6zel odalar\u0131 olarak kullan\u0131rlard\u0131. Belirtmek gerekir ki, babam\u0131z Hac\u0131 Haf\u0131z Mustafa Mutluo\u011flu (1927-1993) ve amcam\u0131z Hac\u0131 Haf\u0131z Mehmet Hul\u00fcsi Mutluo\u011flu (1926-2015) da medrese sistemi ile burada yeti\u015fmi\u015f ve hayatlar\u0131n\u0131 imaml\u0131kla idame etmi\u015f Oflu hocalardand\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Evde \u00f6zel (paral\u0131) e\u011fitim diyebilece\u011fimiz ve \u00fclkenin her taraf\u0131nda \u00f6rneklerine rastlanan bu e\u011fitim sisteminin Of Bo\u011faz\u0131\u2019nda emsali g\u00f6r\u00fclmemi\u015f bir ba\u015far\u0131ya ula\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131, tart\u0131\u015f\u0131lmaz bir ger\u00e7ektir. Anadolu topraklar\u0131nda Oflu Hocan\u0131n ayak basmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir yerin olmamas\u0131, Oflu Hoca tabiri ve nam\u0131n\u0131n \u00fclke s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 a\u015fmas\u0131 rastgele bir olgu de\u011fildir. Ne o zaman, ne de \u015fimdi Of Bo\u011faz\u0131 ahalisi, dini e\u011fitim ve bilgi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan Trabzon Vilayeti ve \u00e7evre illerinin herhangi biri ile mukayese edilebilir. Bu bir rastlant\u0131 de\u011fil, o g\u00fcnlerden g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze aktar\u0131lan bir mirast\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bu g\u00fcn bile her Oflu, \u00c7aykaral\u0131 veya Dernekpazar\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n girdi\u011fi bir camide imam yoksa \u00f6ne ge\u00e7ip namaz\u0131 k\u0131ld\u0131rabilecek bir donan\u0131ma sahip olmas\u0131 bunun bariz g\u00f6stergesidir. Nas\u0131l ki Rize, \u00e7ay\u0131; Yomra, f\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131; Ak\u00e7aabat, t\u00fct\u00fcn\u00fc ile biliniyorsa; Of Bo\u011faz\u0131 da Hocas\u0131 ile tan\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Tarihi bir ger\u00e7ek olarak olay bundan ibarettir.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1869 Tarihli Trabzon Vilayeti Salnamesi\u2019ndeki bilginin do\u011frulu\u011funu, yakinen g\u00f6rebilmemiz i\u00e7in, 1800\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n son ve 1900\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n ilk \u00e7eyre\u011finde, Zeleka ve \u00e7evresindeki Hu\u015fo ve Limli Mahallelerinde e\u011fitim durumuna bir g\u00f6z atmam\u0131z yeterli olacakt\u0131r. Toplam\u0131 200 hane civar\u0131nda bulunan bu yerle\u015fim birimlerinde, \u00fc\u00e7 cami vard\u0131r ve bunlarda yukar\u0131da belirtilen \u015fekilde \u00f6\u011frenci okutulur. Bunlar\u0131n bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n zaman zaman \u00f6\u011frencisiz kalabilece\u011fini de g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcne alarak, tespitin yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 1869 y\u0131l\u0131nda, yar\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n ders verdi\u011fini kabul etsek bile camilerdeki medreselerle ortalama 10 medrese eder. O y\u0131llarda Of Bo\u011faz\u0131\u2019nda 90 civar\u0131nda k\u00f6y\u00fcn bulundu\u011fu ayn\u0131 kaynakta sabit oldu\u011funa g\u00f6re, 350 rakam\u0131n\u0131n hi\u00e7 de abart\u0131l\u0131 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 rahatl\u0131kla anla\u015f\u0131l\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Of Medreseleri nas\u0131l kurulur, neler \u00f6\u011fretir, \u00e7a\u011f\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcnde midir, gerisinde midir gibi sorular her zaman sorulabilir, ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131labilir, ortaya konabilir, hatta bu medreseler ele\u015ftirilebilir de; ancak varl\u0131klar\u0131, y\u00fcz y\u0131llarca \u00fclkemizin kaderine etkileri ve hatta g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde bile din e\u011fitimi ve hizmetleri \u00fczerinde s\u00f6z sahibi olmalar\u0131 asla ink\u00e2r edilemez. Bu ba\u011flamda yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 Of Bo\u011faz\u0131, \u00fclkenin her taraf\u0131nda ve yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda cami imaml\u0131\u011f\u0131, vaizlik, m\u00fcft\u00fcl\u00fck gibi g\u00f6revleri ifa eden ve halen de etmekte olan ve say\u0131lar\u0131 binlerle ifade edilebilecek din adam\u0131 yeti\u015ftirmi\u015ftir.
